Congratulations to Jeff & Jared Crandon on their 2017 season as they have won the Team Angler of the Year championship with their consistency throughout the season.
We had a great season overall with a total of 61 teams and over 120 team members that competed at one time or another during the season. In total we had 19 teams that fished all 10 tournaments. Some of the highlights of the season are as follows:
- Total of 8 different teams won a tournament with two teams winning more than once ( Casey Gonzalez & Eugene Teroski) & ( Billy & Clyde Alstrom)
- Heaviest tournament weight of the season (25.93 lbs on Lake Okeechobee by Casey Gonzalez & Eugene Teroski)
- Lunker of the season (9.05lbs on Lake Toho by Chris and Rick Walters)
- Dink of the season (0.63lbs on Harris Chain by Richard & Stacie Carter)
- Four teams caught a limit in every tournament this season (Jeff & Jaren Crandon) & (Roy Raulerson & Ryan Cooper) & (Tom Craighead & Bob Grosso) & (Steve & Ryan Mekdeci)
- Total of 1,822 fish brought to the scales weighing a total of 4,055 lbs for an average of 223lbs/fish
